New Addition to the Collection: Sony SLT a33 Camera
I followed a link to this contest, not looking for this site, but I'm really impressed, this will be a good resource as I'm starting to get into the sport and work on my game.
Good, keep the prizes coming. How come I don't see much update from Gocchin these days? Look forwar to reading it
Another query for reraders out there: Do Japanese golf clubs generally conform to all of the rule sfor acceptable size/shape, etc. as posted by the USGA?
What a great contest! Here's a first comment for readers out there to reply to: Generally, it seems to me that Japanese golf equipment is so much more thoughtfully and beautifully designed. It seems that most of the major manufacturers have a Japanese design arm/team that creates far more pleasing designs in everything from clothing to clubs. Why? Is the Japanese sense of taste and design that much more "evolved" than American preferences? It also seems to me that price points are generally higher for Japanese equipment - Its this truly the case or is there a currency effect in converting US$ from Yen? Finally, I play Mizuno irons (US versions MP 60s). Is athere a noticable difference in useability/feel with Japanese clubs? Love to learn more!
For those who keep posting to this same thread, I believe it is total recent posts to all GTI blogs.
For the person asking about the Saqra Iron Logo. Sakura in Japanese is Cherry Blossom. The logo is the Japanese kanji charatcer for "Sakura" Not sure how the changing of the spelling "Saqra" vs "Sakura" came about though...
This is a wonderful oppurtunity for GTI to thank all its members, supporters, subscribers & the like...thanks to Golf to Impress for the great giveaway. I have & always been a JDM equipment user. Great looking clubs...
Sorry for not knowing but I am curious about the image on the Saqra irons. Does it have a meaning? I think it is cool but would like to understand more.
guess its a matter of preference. i just dont like to get that stuff by email and thats where rss feed and aggregator/reader work best for me personally. newsletter is another thing, gotta subscribe to it when you guys sort it out. @Jacquelyn:
The RSS feed will send you an e-mail with all of the new posts of the day. It won't send anything, if there is nothing new. It is actually really convenient. Also, sorry about the confusion about the Newsletter sign up. I added a link to the original post. Good luck!!
I think I am already a member of the subscription page but I got an error message when I tried to confirm. Please help.
thing is you cannot subscribe to rss feeds, you have you rss client and it fetches them feeds for you on demand and there is no subscription of any sort involved there ie you just fetch them feeds and thats it, thats what i do. receiving them by email is just way too noisy imho. so i guess i'm out of this giveaway ;) good luck folks, those saqra irons look pretty sweet!
Like the Epon offer! Please check the newsletter signup as I keep receiving an error when try ing to signup. Thanks!
