Custom Mizuno Yoro Order – Twilight MP-59

Custom Mizuno's from Yoro Craft have been very popular over the last few months but pretty much all sets have been the MP-69 which allow for the full set of options from Mizuno. Many customers have inquired about the MP-59 which are one of the most popular Mizuno models but many were disappointed to find out that the MP-59 has a more limited set of options. The MP-59 features a Ti Muscle cavity insert which leaves very little room for custom stamping as the cavity is already pre stamped with Mizuno and MP-59 and because the Ti cannot be finished in the same raw black finish as carbon steel, the raw black and raw black with gloss are also not doable. Regardless of this , forum member and loyal customer vistancia decided the MP-59 was the iron he wanted and decided to take the plunge on a Yoro order and he put together a set with the following specs:

Mizuno MP-59 5-9 (5 irons)
Twilight Finish
W Sole Grind
+0.5FP (Less Offset)
59-A Stamping Remove Grain Flow Forged
No Paintfill
NS Pro 950GH Stiff
Iomic X-Evolution White Round
D2

Needless to say as you can see from the pictures these MP-59 turned out awesome. The darker almost bronze like Twilight look amazing on the MP-59.  While the logos are in their original placements as that is all Yoro can do, the no paint fill and removal of the Ti Muscle and Grain Flow Forged wording make the iron look much more clean.

The W Sole has turned out to be a very popular custom grind especially for those players who are more sweepers and want an iron to excel in tight lies. The W sole (the Japanese use the letter W in place of the word Double) features a fair amount of leading edge and trailing edge relief for clean entry and exit from a variety of conditions.

Less offset was also requested with face progression altered by +0.5mm.

Shafts for this MP-59 are the NS Pro 950GH matched with Iomic X-Evolution White Grips with red caps. This turned out to be one great looking set of irons, and it shows that even with less options the MP-59 can still look pretty cool custom made for a specific customer.

I agree idrive, these looks so much cleaner with this finish and the minimal stamping on them!
