Custom Mizuno Yoro Order – Dr. H Double Nickel Bright MP-69

Another set of awesome custom Mizunos arrived this week from Yoro as customer dream sets continue to come in. We'v already featured a Twilight set, Double Nickel Satin and Black Gloss and today we'll check out Dr. H's Double Nickel Bright set.

Here are his specs:

Mizuno MP-69 3-PW
Double Nickel Bright Finish
69-C Stamping - Own Name
Stamping: DR. H - Purple Paintfill
All other logos - no paintfill
Delete Grain Flow Forged
W Sole Grind
+0.5 FP (less offset)
1* Upright
38.00" 5 Iron
Nippon Modus3 Tour S Flex
Iomic Sticky Red Grips
D3

It seems the mirror finishes like Twilight and this Double Nickel Bright really look awesome when customers choose no paintfill for the logos. Most customers have been going for the decreased offset which looks great.

Dr. H choose the very versatile W Sole grind which incorporates leading edge relief with additional trailing edge relief allow for clean entry and exit from the turf in various lies.

Recently Modus3 Tours have been very popular choices here in Japan. A wonderful steel shaft with great feel and all around performance. The Red Iomic Sticky grips seem to be the match for this shaft.

Another beautiful set from Mizuno Yoro Craft.  Yoro Craft is essentially tour service irons created from scratch specifically for each customer. This is the same service top Mizuno pros get. It amazes me how golfers are always willing to pay huge amounts for so called "tour issue" equipment that were meant for someone else when they can get their own "tour issue" set. Check out some of the other sets here. And we have a thread in the forum dedicated to discussing the Yoro sets here. Feel free to email us anytime for a quote!

John, comment something interesting, instead of ignorant. So Mizuno pros don’t play in the sun????? Are the clubs you play are all flat finishes no chrome???? Or maybe they are all just scratched to hell…..Why even have that as a choice? I think they look tremendous and I can’t wait to receive them!!!!!!! I put a lot of research into this choice…..And I would like to thank Tario in helping me complete my dream clubs!!!!!

Chrome is old school, John, and thanks for your “informed” input, R. I live in the SoCal desert, where neither cloud nor cover are present, Just pure, unadulterated solar rays……..therefor as R so eloquently put it, IRRELEVANT!!!!

After getting used to these “pro” clubs, i have never played with such fine equipment in my life. These are amazing. Yesterday i was laying up, on a par 5. I was 275 from the green. I hit an easy 4 iron to lay up, when i got to the ball it was 39 yards from the pin. This is Rory territory!!!! I was astounded. Soooo smooth. I have increased my iron selection to hit 1-2 clubs less. Did I say i was amazed??? Golf to impress!!!!! I am impressed, and so are my opponents.

Just recieved my matching wedges, finished in Twilight!!!!!! Awesome. Just beautiful!! And the Mizuno Mallet Putter, completes my set!!! I now have THE golf to impress set at my golf club. We open on November 15 and I am chomping at the bit!!!! My next project will be to customize a second Mizuno set. I already have in mind what to do. This is great!!!
