Golf Digest Online Japan has a few new videos up for our viewing pleasure. Respected tester and former Japan tour player Taichiro Kanatani tests both the Ping Anser Forged and Taylormade Japan R9 Tp Forged Irons.
Kanatani Pro finds both irons on the soft side with the Anser Forged rather forgiving even for a supposed players cavity. He calls the R9 TP Forged a true athlete golfers iron, with pure feel and control.
You can check out both videos below which as usual are in Japanese but it's the visuals that we all want to see! Windows Media player or plugin required.
Simply click on the one of the images below to watch the videos! (this will open a pop up window with the video)

Does anyone know if the iron shootout results are out yet? Are the results posted on another site? I thought the results were supposed to be out by now.
Or is this guy just talk and no action?
reply to this commentCastor, don’t expect the results any time soon, if at all. This guy is usually full of shit. If you read some of his posts he usually mentions posting a review of something and rarely follows up.
reply to this commentIt’s funny how both of you happen to be posting from the exact same IP address. By any chance are you the same person? Nah that can’t be possible! (^_^)
And by the way that review is being written right now. Thanks for the motivation.
reply to this commentWhat a pathetic attempt at putting gocchin down.
gocchin don’t even pay any attention to people like that. No idea what they are trying to gain. They obviously haven’t read any of the many reviews you have written.
reply to this commentNo worries M. It’s not a big deal. Maybe he just really want to read that specific review?
